Nurgul's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Nurgul's story

Nurgul is 46 years old and married, with one son. She has a secondary education, and is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature. She is well familiar with agricultural techniques and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 1993, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, Nurgul has been able to develop her farm so that it now consists of two cows, 20 sheep, a horse, and a 1.32-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows beans and apples.

In order to develop her business yet further, Nurgul has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 120,000 som (KGS), with which she will buy dairy cows, her aim being to increase her sales of organic milk and her cattle-breeding income. Nurgul is planning to put the income generated by the loan into developing her farm through an increase in the livestock headcount and also into giving her son a quality education.
