Peter's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more weed masters and pesticides to sell.

Peter's story

In this era where most farmers no longer go organic and instead use chemicals in farming so as to increase their productivity with high quality and quantity, Peter found it viable to invest in Agro chemical supply by establishing an Agro shop to bring services closer to people.

He has run short of funds to stock his shop, since there is a market for the products and his shop is located in town nearer to the farms in rural areas. He therefore requests the loan to buy more weed masters and pesticides to sell.

Peter is a 39-year-old married man with two children still too young to go to school. He lives in Kagadi, Uganda.

He is a learned person with experience in agricultural science and has derived income from the sale of farm supplies like wheelbarrows, watering cans, pesticides, sprays and many others for over four years. This kind of business booms now, when most farmers are weeding, pruning and preserving crops for good harvests.

He complains of inadequate capital and, at times, lack of customers when it is off season. But he covers this gap with private contracts, where he earns income by offering skills contracted by private companies as he searches for a permanent job from the government.
