Aldo Kizito's story

Aldo Kizito is in his first year at Kepler. He is 20 years old and grew up in town, the fifth of five children. He received support from his father for his primary and secondary education and was motivated to attend university by his two older sisters, both university graduates and both passionate about higher education.

Whenever assigned a task, Aldo Kizito puts all his effort into working to the best of his abilities. He chose Kepler because he believes its values align with his goals. At Kepler, he plans to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in management with a concentration in insurance services. In so doing, he hopes to gain skills that will allow him to stand out socially and professionally. After graduation, he plans to work in a Rwanda-based insurance company.

In addition to alleviating the financial burden on his parents, Aldo Kizito believes that studying at Kepler will allow him to give back – not just to them but to his community. He would like to fight poverty and unemployment by sharing his own educational experience, promoting the benefits of education and, with plans to one day become an operator of his own business, he can make a direct impact by hiring Rwandan youth.
