Yessenia Yaneth's story

Yessenia is 28 and a single mother who lives with her 2 children in the municipality of Yoro.

She earns her living selling food such as pastries (corn, flour), baleadas (flour tortilla with beans, butter, cheese, egg), churros, confectionary and juice cartons. For the last 4 years she has had a pitch in front of a school which she rents.

She previously worked as a housemaid. She is applying for a loan of 15000 lempiras to buy supplies for food preparation and sweet treats such as churros, desserts and juices.

She hopes this will help her to earn more income. Yessenia's goal is to improve her home and help her children with their education.
