One Love Group's story
Nancy S. is the leader of a group five borrowers called One Love Group. She is 35 years old, married and has no children. She was not able to go to school because her parents died when she was in her youth. Nancy's business is the sale of hardware such as hammers, nails, locks and hinges. She buys her goods from wholesalers and sells retail on a table in the Red Light Market, which is the largest market in Liberia. She has been running this business for a year and hopes to grow her business in the future. She provides high-quality products to her customers in order to encourage them to continue buying from her. Nancy started selling with 75.00 Liberian dollars as working capital, and now operates with 4,000 in working capital. Nancy will use this loan to purchase additional nails and hammers for resale. She dreams of always being able to help her family when they need her. In the photo that accompanies this profile, Nancy is the one holding the sign.
