A loan helped to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw.

Litia's story

Litia is a 48-year-old married woman with 8 children. She runs a business selling taro and banana in her community to earn a living. She has 4 years of experience with this business. Litia works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and banana. She thought she will earn more income if she plants more banana and taro, but in order to do this, Litia needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw to help her run the business. She even delivers her products to the flea market by using the bus (transportation).

Litia comes from a family which no one else works to earn a living, but only her business will help her family's needs. Her dream is that one day her family will have a great living standard. She became a member of SPBD in 2018 to seek financial help for her business. Litia realized that your support will be a big help for her and her family to develop through financing.
