Th_Nianing Santhie Fatou Group's story

These four fearless women are members of the Banc Villageois which was created in August 2008. They are from the same village and share strong bonds of friendship and solidarity. Their main activity is small business.

Madame Dibor is the representative of the group. She is standing on the far right of the photo with her hand raised. She is 48 years old, married and has six children, one of which is a girl. Two of her children attend school.

Madame Dibor is a poultry farmer. She buys chicks and poultry feed in a town close by and farms them at the house. She sells shellfish in parallel to this. She has more than 2 years of experience in these activities.

With her loan she is going to buy 100 chicks, sacks of poultry feed, pay for vaccines and procure shellfish for reselling.
With the profits she makes from this, she will increase her savings and pay for her needs and the needs of her children.
