Florence's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy flour, cooking oil, sugar and yeast for her bakery business.

Florence's story

Florence is a 47-year-old woman who is married with three children and they live in a rural community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She has a small business making and selling donuts and buns in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been in this business for seven years.

Florence has requested a loan to pay for additional flour, cooking oil, sugar and yeast to increase her productions and assist her in running her business.

She joined SPBD in 2013 to gain access to financial services for her business.

With her earnings, Florence will use her profits to meet her family's daily needs and pay for her children's school fees.
