A loan helped to buy threads, silk and nylon of various colours.

Lizley Paola's story

Lizley Paola and her family live in Portoviejo, the capital of Manabí, known for many years as the city of the Royal Tamarind Trees.

She is a working woman who looks to make a living so that she can move ahead by her own means and not depend on her children. She is an artisan and makes handicrafts. She makes woven bags with personalised designs to her customers' tastes. They always ask for her work. She also gives weaving lessons and there she sells her materials to her students, whether it is for the classes or for them to use and then sell.

This loan is to buy threads, silk, nylon in a variety of colours, handles for wallets, accessories and other materials she needs. Her dream is to have premises and to continue with the weaving classes.
