José's loan finished fundraising, but these similar borrowers need your support

A loan helped to continue his studies of maintenance mechanics.

José's story

José is a young student who lives with his parents and four siblings. He is the second youngest. His father does metal structure work and his mother is a homemaker.

Jose decided to study maintenance mechanics in Senati because he feels it is a challenge to solve the problems that arise in the company, whether it is maintenance, design, or improvement in the process of machine industrialization. His area of study will take four years and he is already in his first year, dedicating 40 hours a week to it.

When he finishes this program, he plans to study in a company that requires industrial maintenance services and qualified personnel.

His main obstacles were the lack of financial support and educational resources. His dream is to have his own successful business of industrial machinery maintenance and be able to provide more jobs for young students like himself.

Jose would like to tell Kiva lenders, "I feel very fortunate for the opportunity that you have given me, knowing that not many people can rely on this economic help and technical professional development. The money borrowed will be used wisely to complete my education, which will bear fruit in the future and will be paid back completely."
