Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The Mujeres Unidas group is in its first loan cycle of the women's committee program. There are eighteen women in the group, all of whom are from the town of Villarrica. They are hardworking women, neighbours, and know each other.

One example of a woman who struggles and makes sacrifices every day is Sra. Nilsa. She earns her living selling clothing and says that although her work is simple, she does it with much enthusiasm so she can provide her family with all that she could not have. She characterizes herself as a hardworking, enterprising and devoted person who wishes to give the best she can to her family.

Nilsa is seeking a loan to buy jeans, shirts, tops, pants and other items of clothing to sell.
