Las Comadres Group's story

The Communal Bank "Las Comadres" is part of the Villa Tejada Agency. It is formed by eight members and is headed by a board of directors with Juana as their president.

Juana lives in a free union with her partner and has three children. She has a business of chifflery (medicines and tables for the Pachamama). With this loan she will buy wholesale religious charms, incense, copal and wool. She will buy it from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. Later she will prepare it and sell it at her stall. This way of working allows her to generate an income to support her family financially.

Her aspiration is to enlarge her business. Juana asks that people can trust her community bank again.
