Talzhibek's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase the volume of milk she sells to a factory.

Talzhibek's story

Talzhibek, age 52, is married and has adult children. Talzhibek has a secondary education. She has been engaged in animal husbandry and crop farming since 1996 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to Talzhibek's hard work, her farm currently has two cows, 50 sheep, and two horses, as well as a 3.72-hectare plot of land where she grows beans. Talzhibek has a contract to deliver organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows Talzhibek to invest continually in her agricultural business.

When Talzhibek found out that she could take out a loan from Bai Tushum Bank on security of her contract for a future delivery (as part of the "Value chain" product), she applied for a loan of 110,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows, with the goal of increasing the volume of organic milk she sells. Payments for the milk from the factory will be transferred directly to Talzhibek's bank account, and loan payments will be debited automatically. Profits from the loan will help Talzhibek to develop her farm going forward.
