Fanta Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy the ACE1 cookstove to gain access to electricity and save money spent on fuel so she can buy a car.

Fanta Group's story

Ntebaleng is a 42-year-old woman who lives in 2-bedroom house with another family member. She is a middle-aged woman who is not yet married and who doesn't have any children. Ntebaleng works as a civil servant and is struggling with saving to buy a car. She loves good things and due to the high costs of living, mainly because of high fuel costs, she is unable to maintain her luxurious life.

She spends most of her energy budget on electricity and gas, which costs up to LSL 400 per month. She also spends as much as an hour per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Ntebaleng and the group in this village bought their ACE 1 cookstoves to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

Ntebaleng specifically bought the ACE1 cookstove to save on fuel so she can buy her dream car and travel to work comfortably.

The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cookstove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
