Eulalia's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped To buy stock items for her store.
Eulalia became a client of our institution thanks to a recommendation from one of the clients that works with communal banks under advisor, Nicolas. Eulalia lives in Plan 3000 zone's 30 de Agosto neighborhood with her husband and two children. She has a small grocery store where she sells basic needs items. She is asking for funding to stock her store. Her husband, Efrain, is an urban taxi driver. Thanks to their combined efforts, they have owned their own house and vehicle for a year now. The couple had a recent setback that almost caused them to lose all their belongings. What happend was: the wife lent herself some money to pay for her husband's trip abroad where work conditions would provide higher income. However, once abroad he was discovered to be undocumented and he was deported to Bolivia; he had just recently left. After this, he left the country again and stayed out working for over a year. He was able to earn enough money to build the house and buy a vehicle, which he currently uses to work and help with household expenses. They comment that the experience they went through taught them to value family unity which is the fundamental pillar needed to overcome any adversity. They are very grateful to Emprender and Kiva for the trust placed in them by granting the loan.
