Angella's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more foodstuffs for sale to earn a living for her children.

Angella's story

Angella is a widow and the mother of three daughters who attend school.

She runs a stall selling fresh foods, fruits and vegetables. She started this business 6 years ago after losing her husband, to fend for her children. With the little income she gets from this business, she provides for her children and pays for their education in low-cost schools.

Her business has realized an improvement in sales, thanks to the previous funding from Kiva lenders. However, she is still low on stock to meet the high demand, given the fact that people eat every day.

She has therefore applied for a loan of 1,000,000 UGX to buy more foodstuffs for sale. She is hopeful that with increased stock, her sales will increase, thereby improving her income and her ability to make ends meet for her children.

Angella is grateful for the financial support that will further grow her business.
