Divino Niño Jesus Group's story
This group was formed by Mrs. Ramona C., a resident of the San Isidro neighborhood of the city of Coronel Oviedo. She found out about the program through the Mujeres Unidas group. She then invited her friends and colleagues from the local bus station, who decided to form a group in order to get ahead and improve their quality of life. The group is made up of 15 hard-working, humble women who joined together with the hope of improving their living conditions. Each one has their own independent business activity according to their respective skills. One of the group members is Mrs. Ana Maria S., who sells snacks like empanadas (savory pastries) and milanesas (breaded meat), as well as some traditional Paraguayan foods like bori-bori (vegetable soup with balls of corn flour), Paraguayan soup (made from corn flour) and other meals. She used her loan to buy the ingredients she needs to prepare these foods, as well as several tools, like meat grinders and dough mixers.
