Begay's story

Begay is 30 and married with a son. She has a high school education and is a hardworking, purposeful and entrepreneurial person. She has a good understanding of the technical aspects of running an agricultural business and knows how to manage a budget. She has been working in animal husbandry since 2009 as the primary source of income for her family. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach to her tasks, she has been able to develop her farm to having three cows, 10 sheep and three horses.

With the goal of further developing her farm, Begay has approached Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 100,000 KGS to buy dairy cows to increase her sales of organic milk and her income from raising livestock. She plans to put income from the loan into further developing her farm and saving toward building a house.
