Kunduz's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase her sales of organic milk to a factory.

Kunduz's story

Kunduz is 24 years old, married, and has three children. Kunduz has a secondary education. Since 2013, she has been working in animal husbandry and field crop agriculture for her family's main source of income. Thanks to Kunduz's persistent hard work, at present her farm has 17 cows, a horse, and also a 3.0 plot of land on which she grows beans.

Kunduz has a contract to provide organic milk to a local factory for further processing into dairy products. This allows Kunduz to continually invest in her farming business. After finding out that she can take out a loan from Bai Tushum by using her milk contract as collateral (under the "Value Chain" product), she applied for a loan of 145,000 som (KGS) to purchase dairy cows, with the aim of increasing her volume of organic milk sales.

The factory's payments for the milk will be directly transferred into Kunduz's bank account, and loan repayments will be automatically deducted. The funds from the loan will help Kunduz to further develop her farm through increasing her livestock numbers and purchasing land, and also help her to give her children a good education.
