Diane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase the inventory in her two small food shops.

Diane's story

Diane is a refugee, but more than that she is a mother, wife, Vice President of the refugee camp, and business owner. She has a proven track record of success. Since receiving her first two loans she has expanded her grocery stores to several different locations!

It all started in 2012, when Diane and her family fled the violence in Congo due to political insecurities. After resettling in one of Rwanda's refugee camps, Diane quickly started her business to provide for her large family.

This loan will help her add more products to the business, offering her community more options, and giving her the opportunity to continue growing her business, and building a better life for her family.

Diane is one of the best entrepreneurs in the camp. She is proving that by investing in refugee businesses. These resilient entrepreneurs can grow their businesses from micro enterprises that support the family, to small businesses that contribute to the economic development of the community.
