Enock's Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase hybrid seeds and fertilizer to improve harvests of maize.

Enock's Group's story

Pictured above is Enock, often described as an extremely hardworking individual. He is 41 years old and has five children. As a group leader, he is representing his group of 13 farmers in Kimilili District, Kenya.

Enock is returning this season to work with One Acre Fund again, as this means that he is able to get the best-quality fertilizer and hybrid seeds, which is why he decided to join in the first place. Enock says that he is happy to have made that decision because, since he first joined in 2014, he has had more profits from each harvest, which has improved his day-to-day life significantly. Enock will use the profits from this season to send his children to school.

The group will use this loan to purchase seeds and fertilizer to plant a total of 11.5 acres.
