Al Wafaa Group's story

Anoud is the featured borrower of the Al Wafaa Group loan, which consists of three Syrian refugee women. She is a 25-year-old married mother of one child who works in agriculture and benefits from a limited income.

Anoud is a hardworking young woman who strives for the sake of her family and always seeks ways to improve their living conditions. For this reason, she went along with Fatem and Fatima to acquire a refugee loan product from Kiva's field partner, Al Majmoua. Anoud will use her loan share to buy a collection of clothes to start her own clothing retail business to benefit from another source of income.

Anoud wishes for a successful life and hopes to stay capable of improving her family's living conditions.
