but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more items and increase the stock in her bar.

Kenthia Aime's story

Kenthia Aime is a new entrepreneur who has learned to stand in the face of adversity. With no prior experience in business, she bravely opened her own bar in one of Rwanda's refugee camps. At first, living in the refugee camp was a difficult transition for Kenthia Aime as she lived a very different life back in Burundi. However she knew that starting a business would help improve her situation.

Through careful saving and investing, Kenthia Aime was able to move her business from the local market, selling items such as rice and beans, transitioning to her own bar, and she did this in under two years!

Kenthia Aime believes that her business will help support her and her entire family. She is the mother of two children and, while still adjusting to the different life she lives in Rwanda, she is excited about the potential of her business and the impact it can have on the lives of her family.
