Kantutitas Triunfadoras Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase supplies to sew polleras [skirts] for cholitas [women who dress in the traditional Andean way].

Kantutitas Triunfadoras Group's story

The communal bank Kantutitas Triunfadoras, as part of the Agencia Panamericana, is made up of eight members and is led by officers, of whom Hortencia is the president.

Hortencia is 30 years old, married, and has two children. She has a business selling clothing for cholitas [women who dress in the traditional Andean way], polleras [skirts] which she sews.

With her loan, she will purchase fabric and thread in bulk, which she will get from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Later, she will make and sell them in her sales stand. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially. Her aspiration is to expand her business. Hortencia asks that you be able to trust in her communal bank again.
