Vjola's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to help the wife of a blind husband to pay for their son's autism school.

Vjola's story

Vjola is a 42-year-old woman from Lezhe. She is a devoted wife and mother to three children. Her main commitment is the care of her blind husband, seen in the photo with her, and her autistic son. Her son was born with this health concern, while her husband had an accident a few years ago that left him totally blind.

As you can see in the photo taken outside their home, they have very bad living conditions. This is because all of their income is from her husband’s and son’s disability pensions, and the assistance that she gets for taking care of them.

Nevertheless, Vjola is a very strong woman and able to deal with all her family problems. For the second time, she is asking for Kiva lender support. The previous time lenders helped her pay for some extra health expenses and she is very grateful. This time, she hopes for lender support to be able to pay for their son's autism school. "This way he will be able to understand and communicate with the world easier!" says Vjola.
