Ropafadzo's story

Ropafadzo, aged 31, is a married woman living in Chegutu, Zimbabwe with her husband and son, who is in primary.

She owns a wholesale and grocery shop that sells groceries, such as bread, soap, cooking oil, rice and drinks. She has been running this business for the past three years.

Ropafadzo has faced some minor setbacks when she was robbed on her way to buy stock for her business, leaving her with no funds.She has requested a loan for her business to enable her to restock her store and get her business back to normal.

The income she will earn will help her recover some of the losses from the robbery. The income from this business is crucial for her, as it enables her to take care of her young family while her husband looks for employment.
