Khomo Ea Molle Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to use the ACE1 cook-stove to provide heat for customers since winter is really cold and as a result, business does not do well.

Khomo Ea Molle Group's story

Mamahlomola is a 49-year-old woman who lives in rondavels without access to electricity with 6 other family members, including 1 child. Mamahlomola works as a general cafe dealer; she is also a farmer but struggles with school fees.

She spends most of her energy expenses on candles, paraffin, and cooking gas, which cost up to LSL 659 per month. She also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Mamahlomola and the group in this village bought the ACE 1 cook-stove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. She also wants to keep her customers warm in the winter.

The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook-stove, please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
