Tutihon's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for field work for the spring planting and increase her income from a good organic potato harvest.

Tutihon's story

The 61-year-old Tutihon is married, with two children. She has a secondary education. At present she grows crops exclusively, and this is her family's main source of income. Thanks to Tutihon's hard work and responsible approach to the job, she has been able to develop her farm and now works 0.41 hectares of land.

In order to develop her farm further, Tutihon has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS), with which she will buy potato seeds and fertilizer, her aim being to increase her income from growing organic potatoes. Tutihon is planning to put the income generated by the loan into the ongoing development of her business by increasing her allotment of irrigated land, while using a portion of that income to repair and renovate her home.
