Dios Proveerá 5 Group's story

Luisa is a woman who lives in a "batey" (company town) in the province of La Romana in the Dominican Republic. Despite being a tourist area, La Romana has very impoverished communities, such as the bateys, where people live in extreme poverty.

Luisa is the mother of three children who are her motivation every day to go out and give the best of herself. She has a "fritura" (stand) where she sells salami, provisions, fried meat, sausage, etc., and she also sells clothing, such as dresses, shirts, and shoes, to increase her income a bit more.

The difficult economic situation in which many of the women in the Dominican Republic live has required them to start different types of businesses, to "look for the bread" for their families, as is the situation with Luisa.

Luisa was not able to finish school, but this has not stopped her from working. She dreams of having her own house one day, and of seeing her children in professional careers.

Luisa needs your help to buy merchandise to stock her businesses.
