Kaolack_Jsm Ngewoul Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy peanut seeds and fertiliser.

Kaolack_Jsm Ngewoul Group's story

This group was created in 2009. It is made up of 11 women who live in the same village and support each other. They mainly work in rain-based agriculture.

Fatma, who is standing on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group representative. She is 59 years old, married, and has seven children. She grows millet and peanut seeds. After the harvest, she sells her produce at the weekly markets of her area.

With the loan, Fatma is going to buy peanut seeds and bags of fertiliser. She will use the profits to care for her family and to buy some ewes for breeding, because she wants to diversify her business.
