Shayakim's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to prepare fields for spring sowing and improve potato and corn harvest, and to buy livestock to increase income from livestock breeding.

Shayakim's story

Shayakim is 61 years old, married, and has three sons. Shayakim has secondary education, and he works as a grounds manager in the local school. He has been engaged in animal husbandry for many years in order to bring in supplementary income for his family. Thanks to Shayakim's persistent hard work, his farm currently has two cows, 15 sheep, and 0.96 hectares of land on which he cultivates potatoes and corn.

With the goal of further developing his farm, Shayakim has applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 160,000 som (KGS) to purchase livestock, with the goal of increasing his herd size. Part of the loan will also be used to prepare his fields for the spring sowing, so that he will be able to reap a bountiful harvest of potatoes and corn. The loan will also help Shayakim to invest in developing his business.
