Ismail's story

Ismail is a male Ugandan aged 44 years old and a resident of Buyala in Budondo, Jinja district. Ismail is a single father of three and a businessman operating a tailoring business at a busy street in Jinja town. He also owns a video hall in his home area of Buyala where he makes some income to help him in the daily running of his home.

Ismail has a family of five and a house helper that he brought on board after his wife left due to unknown reasons, neglecting the children with their last born just at six months old then.

Ismail embarked on raising his children and dedicated himself towards working hard and also investing some of his business proceeds into small ventures. Of late, he has bought three refrigerators where soft drinks are cooled and sold to people that come to his video hall to watch football.

Ismail has sought a loan facility of 2,000,000 UGX to help him purchase cloth materials and a generator, which he believes will help him out during power breakdowns. Very many people in the area do not have access to power but keep looping from the nearby electric lines, leading to load shading and power shutdowns.

Ismail believes that, with time, he will see all his children attend better schools. He is hard-working and appreciates your kind support.
