Pamela's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a freezer and new chairs.

Pamela's story

Pamela is 31 years old. She is a single mother and has a small baby. They live in a rented house within the province of Cercado, located in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia. Cochabamba has a great variety of traditional dishes. Many of them date back to ancestral times. Others are relatively new but have left a profound impression on the tastes of the residents of Cochabamba. Being a city in a fertile valley, its privileged soil makes Cochabamba the gastronomy capital of Bolivia.

For that reason, Pamela earns a living making and selling meals, specifically assorted lunches that she makes each day. She serves regular customers along with a large number of citizens who pass by her location on foot.

This is the first time that Pamela is requesting a loan, and she is trusting in Fundacion Sartawi for it. Her loan will be used for the purchase of a freezer and new chairs in order to offer her diners greater comfort. She hopes to increase her assets and convert her business into a great restaurant. This way she will increase her income in order to be able to provide a happy future and, especially, a high level of education to her small baby.
