Blossom Women Group's story

Margaret is a 33-year-old, vibrant, ever-smiling and hardworking mother of two children. Her husband is unemployed.

Margaret is in the bakery business, which she operates in a highly populated industrial area. She is a member of the Blossom Women group, which was formed in order to access Thrive Microfinance loans. The group repaid their previous loans very well. Margaret specializes in bread-making and other confectioneries. She has six employees who help her operate the business. Margaret hopes to run a bigger and well-established bakery in the near future.

Margaret used her portion of the loan to buy more flour in bulk to make more bread.
