Santa Margarita's story

Santa lives with her children and husband in the hamlet of La Cuesta, in San Lorenzo, department of Valle. Her business consists of making and selling curd. Her customers are her neighbors, friends, and relatives who visit her daily in search of dairy products. She also sends her products to the cities of San Lorenzo and Jícaro Galán, where she has a good clientele. She has been doing this type of work for many years. Her customers prefer going to her because of her quality to attention and the quality of her products.

At this time, she is applying for a loan to purchase raw materials to make her dairy products, and also cartloads of firewood to market her products. In this way, she intends to please her customers.

She is using these means to thank Kiva and Prisma for the support she has received all this time and hopes to continue changing her life noticeably. She dreams of improving her living conditions.
