Gulmira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Gulmira's story

Gulmira is 45 years old, married and the mother of 5 children. She has a high school education. The main source of income for her family is from raising livestock and crops. Gulmira's neighbors report that she is a cheerful, honest and hardworking woman. Thanks to Gulmira's hard work and the help of her husband, she has on her farm today 2 cows, 25 sheep and 2 horses, as well as 1.2 hectares of land on which she grows beans.

Gulmira has an agreement to deliver organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Gulmira applied for 250,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank after learning that she can receive the loan based on her contract for future deliveries as part of the product "value chain". She will purchase dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of milk. Payments for the milk from the plant will be deposited directly into her bank account and loan payments automatically deducted. The loan proceeds will help Gulmira further increase her cattle headcount, build a home for her family and give her children a quality education.
