David's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a `tuk tuk` to reach more customers who could not previously afford clean drinking water.

David's story

David is a passionate salesman who currently manages the sales team of a radio station and television station in his home town. The first time he saw a Jibu bottle was while doing his field work. He was immediately attracted to the beauty of the bottle especially tap which made it very convenient to use and the affordability.

After getting more information about Jibu water, he immediately knew that this would be a solution to the water needs of his community. Being of an entrepreneurial mindset, David also knew that this was an opportunity for him to own his business while impacting his community positively.

In January 2019, he made a decision to start his own franchise in his hometown of Jinja. David`s marketing background has enabled him develop a large market base. He puts all his efforts in finding more customers and giving them the best service.

A loan will allow him to deliver more water to his community and reduce on the costs incurred while hiring other expensive means of transportation. This will save him from having to build up a capital base from his own profits, which would slow his potential for growth. The loan will be repaid from his profits, with all payments projected to be made as scheduled.
