Zuura's story

Zuura is 25 years old, married and has a daughter. Zuura has a secondary education. Zuura is a goal-oriented, hardworking, honest and decisive woman. To provide the primary income for her family, she has been involved in animal husbandry and farming since 2013. Thanks to Zuura's hard work and her husband's help with the business, today her farm contains four cows and 1.0 hectare of land, where she grows beans. Zuura has a contract to deliver organic milk to a local plant for production of dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Having learned that the Bai Tushum Bank offers "Value-chain" collateral loans using her contract for a future delivery, Zuura requested a loan in the amount of 100,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows in order to increase the volume of milk sales. The payments for the milk from the plant will be directly deposited to Zuura's bank account, and the loan repayments will be automatically debited. The profit from the loan will allow Zuura to further grow her business and improve her family's financial well-being.
