Rosalyn's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, red oil, vita, pepper and other food items to sell.

Rosalyn's story

This is Rosalyn. She is a 48-year-old, hard-working business woman, who is married and has been blessed with 5 children. 3 of her children are currently attending school while living at home.

Rosalyn runs a retail business which sells rice, red oil, vita, pepper and other food items. She asked for a loan from BRAC Liberia, KIVA's field partner. Rosalyn is seeking the loan to buy more rice, red oil, vita, pepper and other food items to sell and to add to her business in order to ensure that she meets her customers' demands.

Her love for her business continues to grow every day. She has been selling for the past 12 years. She enjoys interacting with her customers because it enables her to grow her customer base.

Through her profits, Rosalyn will be able to pay back the loan and improve her family’s standard of living. Like any loving parent, her dream is to see her children succeed in life and to have a good education. It is also her dream to own a shop.

She says thanks for your support.
