Dukorerehamwe Gabiro Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more sorghum to sell.

Dukorerehamwe Gabiro Group's story

Chantal is 42 years old, married, the mother of 4 children, and lives in Byumba community (northern part of the country) with her husband. She is very concerned about the well-being of her children and always works harder to improve their living conditions.

Chantal sells sorghum to the community and has 10 years of experience in this field. Her big challenge is a lack of capital to continue operating her business peacefully; this issue is preventing her from reaching her sales targets.

For this reason, she is requesting this loan to purchase more sorghum to sell. The profits generated by this loan will be used to buy enough food for the family and medical insurance for the whole family.

This is Chantal’s third loan cycle with VisionFund Rwanda. She is the president of Dukorerehamwe Gabriro and is the one holding a register book in her hands.

Chantal is deeply thankful to the Kiva lenders for funding this loan.
