Magheji Baghaya Hanji Group's story

Anyesi is married with seven children and lives in Bundibugyo, Uganda. She deals in cocoa, mainly buying and selling to cocoa companies. She also started a food stall business 22 years ago to raise extra income for the family. Three of her children are attending school. Her main challenge is limited capital to attain hopes of expanding the business, educating her children up to university and supporting family members.

She has asked for a loan to pay for labor during harvesting and drying cocoa. She is a member of Magheji Baghaya Hanji where members guarantee one another for a loan.
