Maria Gabriela's story

The city of Portoviejo, which was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016, is located in the Portoviejo River valley. The city is rich in its production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Maria Gabriela is 30 years old. She's in a common-law marriage, and from this relationship she has 2 children, ages 13 and 6 years. They are students in school and high school. She's 6 months pregnant. Her husband is a private employee. They live in their own house.

Maria Gabriela works doing manicures and pedicures in her home and going out to clients' houses. She works every day. Her clients call on her to come to their houses, and she also works with her mother-in-law, who has a restaurant specializing in spicy foods, in her spare time, as she is pregnant and can't work a lot.

With this new loan, she'll buy nail polish, files, clippers, thinner, etc.

Her dream is to have her own location, and that her family continue to be healthy.
