Emilse María's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped buy maize flour and a larger polystyrene container to allow her to sell in batches.

Emilse María's story

Emilse María is 42 years old and has a frozen food business. She lives with her partner and her two children, aged 7 and 15, who are students.

For her business, she makes and sells frozen food such as little pastries and empanadas. She sells them to neighbors, and other clients related to the dental clinic where her husband works.

She started her business after having to leave her previous employer to take care of her son, who was born with special needs and needed her close by. Until now, her business has generated income that contributes to her household budget.

She invested her previous loan in products such as flour, milk and eggs, that she bought wholesale. This increased her client base and income slightly and she even hired a worker.

At the moment, she is asking for a loan with which she will buy maize flour and a larger polystyrene container to allow her to sell in batches and increase sales and revenue further, to continue supporting her household together with her husband.
