Alice's story

Alice is 55 years old. She is a widow and a very responsible mother of four children. Among the four, one is below the age of 18 years. She has been running a retail shop business for the past seven years now, and she earns an average income of KES 10,000 per month.

She has applied for her third loan from VisionFund Kenya to enable her restock her shop. She will purchase sugar, milk, bread, salt, rice. cooking oil, wheat flour, maize flour and some spaghetti. This will increase her sales and thus increase her monthly profits.

With the anticipated profits, she plans to repay her loan, pay school fees for the children and also provide for the family. It's her desire to live a better and improved life in future from the income she earns from the business.
