Henriques's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy peanuts, cabbage, common beans and maize from small farmers in his community and sell to the market in order to increase the income for his family.

Henriques's story

Henriques is a 50-year-old Mozambican man. He lives in Tete with his wife and their 3 lovely children.

Henriques is a very dynamic person, who is always thinking about how to improve the conditions for his family as well as for the small farmers in his community.

Henriques is really passionate about his family as well as about his work. He has worked in agriculture since he was a young boy and he never stopped believing in agriculture as a source of income.

Together with his family, Henriques is exploring a huge area of land where he produces peanuts, cabbage and common beans. Some of the production is for consumption at home and the other part is for selling. Thanks to this activity, Henriques has been able to provide an income for his family.

Since the number of clients has considerably increased, Henriques is now challenged by the fact he does not have enough products to sell. This is why he is requesting a Kiva loan in order to buy peanuts, cabbage, common beans and maize to sell it to the market in order to increase the income for his family.
