'ilaisaane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy food for her pigs and also to renovate the pig's fence.

'ilaisaane's story

Ilaisaane is a 32-year-old, married woman, and she's also a mother of five children. They are living together at their owned home. Altogether, there are eight of them living in the house. Currently they have four children still in school and one too young to have entered school.

'Ilaisaane runs a pig business. She has a fenced area with some pigs and piglets that she feeds everyday. Her husband helps her feed the pigs and also in building the fence. They sell their piglets at a very reasonable price at the market to earn income for helping their family and also for loan repayments. She requested a loan from SPBD, her fifth loan cycle, to use to renovate the fence for her pigs. Her vision for her business in the future is to earn some more income in order to educate her children for a better future.
