A loan helped to buy stock of hardware for sale.

Lucy's story

Lucy is 48 years of age, lives in Tafo, a community in Kumasi, and has two children in school.

Lucy earns a living from the operation of a hardware shop. She sells plywood, roofing sheets, paints, nails, and other building materials in her shop. Her presence in the community is helping lots of building contractors and individuals who want to renovate their houses. She started the business two years ago and has built it to a very appreciable level through hard work and perseverance. She possesses good customer services and works hard not to let her clients down.

In order to make more money, she has added the sale of provisions - such as toothpaste, rice, milk, etc. to her shop.

She is currently seeking financial support to buy stock of the supplies.

Her intention is to plow back her profits into the business and take care of her children’s education. She is grateful in advance to her generous Kiva supporters.
