Finyellang Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to save money spent on fuel, to use the ACE 1 cook stove to gain access to electricity for extra lighting at night and for charging mobile device.

Finyellang Group's story

Manthoana is a 75-year-old woman who lives in separated huts, without access to electricity, with seven other family members, including three children. Manthoana relies on her pension fund as a source of income but struggles with school fees and buying food and grocery for her family. She spends the largest amount of her energy expenses on paraffin and mobile device charging fees, which costs up to M108 per month. She also spends as much as 4 hours per day, gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Manthoana and the group in this village bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
