Mahenahena Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to save money spent on fuel, by using the ACE 1 cook stove to cook, to gain access to electricity for extra lighting at night and to charge a mobile device using biomass and solar energy.

Mahenahena Group's story

Mamotsamai is a 48-year-old woman who lives in a 2-bedroom house with 3 other family members, including 2 grandchildren. Mamotsamai works as a livestock farmer but struggles to pay to renovate her home.

She currently pays for electricity, paraffin and cooking gas, which costs up to M 490 per month. She also spends as much as 10 hours per day gathering fuel.

Mamotsamai and the group in this village bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help them save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free.

The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
