A loan helped to buy weaving materials to make more traditional woven cloth.

Anita's story

Anita is modest, hardworking, 23 years old, and married.

Anita has amazing skills and experiences with East Timor traditional woven cloth called tais, and she makes a living from it. Her weaving shop, which she has been running for many years now, is so well located that it is easy to find. Many people come to buy her woven materials every day. Running the business has made Anita become independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's everyday needs.

She previously borrowed and repaid her previous loan with a good habit on time and now she would like a loan of $1,500 through KIF to help improve her weaving shop. She plans to use this loan to buy additional materials like different colors of yarn and warp thread.
